1. Grounding/oil leak incident involving Wakashio
When looking back at 2020, MOL must never forget the grounding and oil spill incident involving the MOL-chartered bulk carrier Wakashio off the island of Mauritius.
While MOL continually takes the initiative on measures to restore the environment and contribute to society and communities, the company has introduced an exclusive web page outlining the incident, environmental recovery and social contribution plans, and measures to prevent the reoccurrence of such incidents in the future.
