Russia Ministry of Energy: Nikolay Shulginov held a meeting with the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE Suheil Al-Mazrui

Nikolay Shulginov discussed with the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suheil Muhammad Al-Mazru and topical issues of cooperation between countries at the “Russian Energy Week”.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Energy indicated the interest of Russian oil and gas companies in the implementation of joint projects with the UAE.
“We have opportunities to expand cooperation in the fuel and energy sector. I hope that the forum will be able to discuss current projects through specialized companies, ”Nikolai Shulginov noted.

He stressed that the Ministry of Energy is ready to provide support to companies in the implementation of joint oil and gas projects to develop fields, develop logistics and transport infrastructure.

It was also noted at the meeting that Russia and the United Arab Emirates have competitive advantages in the development of hydrogen energy. The parties are working on a joint declaration of intent between the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates on cooperation in the field of sustainable energy.
