LONGi: LONGi signs 300MW MOU with top system integrator OSW in Australia

LONGi Solar Australia announced today the signing of a 300MW supply agreement with One Stop Warehouse (OSW) for 2022 in Australia, that will offer Australians the latest in solar technology and advance the growth and development of the Australian solar market.

Recent difficulties in the solar panel supply chain have impacted the availability of solar modules in Australia. LONGi Solar Australia has actively worked to ensure that Australian solar retailers regain access to high-quality solar modules for their projects to avert the supply shortages.

The first of many steps is an Agreement signed by LONGi Solar Australia and its long-term partner OSW, a leading integrator of distributed solar and storage systems in Australia. This important agreement will guarantee supply of 300MW of high-efficiency modules to OSW’s Australian customers.

OSW is one of the top global and the No. 1 Australian system integrator with over 25% of the market share in the residential sector in the country. It has delivered over 600,000 systems since 2013 and has plans to grow to 10 million by 2030. OSW has become a “One-Stop” service integrator of sustainable energy by leveraging their self-developed digital platform, combined with a bespoke management system, client SaaS and innovative financing solutions purposefully built for STC trading.

LONGi, the world’s largest vertically integrated PV module manufacturer, will ensure production and stock availability. Combined with local warehousing across Australia from LONGi and OSW, the partnership will meet the demands of installers in Australia, regardless of location or project specifications.

The 300MW MOU is a significant step in the partnership, demonstrating the commitment of both parties to the Australian solar industry. “It is not just a number, but a minimum target we are setting to both companies and to be accountable for, which will drive our efforts and encourage us to bring the best products and services to the Australian market”, said Stephen Zhang, Managing Director of LONGi Solar Australia.

Present at the MOU Signing Ceremony at LONGi’s Shanghai office was Zhenguo Li, Founder & President of LONGi, Dennis She, Vice President Sales & Marketing at LONGi, Luke Lu, LONGi APAC President of Global Sales & Marketing Center, Lucy Niu, LONGi Distributed Business General Manager, Anson Zhang, OSW CO-Founder & CEO and Jeff Yu, OSW Co-Founder & COO. LONGi Solar Australia and OSW teams joined via teleconference at OSW Sydney warehouse to celebrate the occasion.

OSW CEO Anson Zhang said, “It is a great honour to partner with LONGi and know that we have a long term and reliable supply of LONGi’s excellent products for our customers. Agreements like this bring value to Australia’s solar industry. I am confident that our customers will benefit, and we are thankful we can secure this supply for their projects into the future.”

LONGi Solar Australia and One Stop Warehouse will continue to work together to bring the latest products and innovations in solar technology to the Australian market.
