CNPC’s first floating photovoltaic project topped 10,000 MWh

As of November 8, the Xinghuo Photovoltaic (PV) Power Station of Daqing Oilfield, CNPC’s first floating PV project, has been running smoothly for more than 100 days, with the cumulative power generation reaching 10,500 MWh.

The PV station was connected to the grid on July 1, 2022. It has a construction area of 400,000 square meters and an installed capacity of 18.73 MW. It is expected to generate 27,500 MWh of electricity per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 22,000 tons.
