European Commission: Commissioner Simson in Poland for energy discussions amid Russia’s continued aggression in Ukraine

A joint press point by the Minister and Commissioner will take place on Tuesday, at 10.10 CET, and will be available later on Ebs.
On Tuesday, she will also visit the Siekierki district heating plant, and then meet with members of the Polish Parliament’s Committee on Energy, Climate and State Assets and the Committee on European Union Affairs. In the afternoon, the Commissioner will attend a signing ceremony marking Ukrenergo’s entry into the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) as an observer, following the emergency synchronisation of the Ukrainian and Moldovan electricity grids with the Continental European grid.
