On August 3, GCL Integrated Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as GCLSI) and China Power Engineering Consultants Group Southwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as SWEPDI) signed a strategic cooperation agreement at GCL Energy Center in Suzhou.
The agreement indicates that from September 2021 to December 30, 2022, SWEPDI will purchase more than 1GW of high-efficiency modules from GCLSI.
Through the agreement, all the products which purchased by the SWEPDI are high-efficiency modules with the maximum output up to 530W. The specific module type, logistic time, quantity and unit price shall be confirmed by both parties and contract.
Hu Boyun, General Manager of SWEPDI, said the company is vigorously developing new energy engineering business. In the future, they will focus on developing domestic and international PV markets together, and contribute to the national rural revitalization strategy and the achievement of the dual carbon goal, and realizing the common development of both companies.
Thomas Zhang Kun, President of GCLSI, expressed his gratitude to the SWEPDI for its trust. GCLSI will provide high-quality module products and services for its partners with a new large-formats intelligent production line at its Hefei production base, and hopes that both sides will give full supports for their respective advantages and expand cooperation in more fields.
It is reported that the first phase of its Hefei large-format module intelligent manufacturing base will be officially put into operation in September, which will significantly enhance GCL Integrated market competitiveness in the field of large-format modules after it is put into operation.
