GE Gas Power acquires Nexus Controls from Baker Hughes, creates new full-service Controls business line

SCHENECTADY  – GE (NYSE: GE) today announced its Gas Power business completed the acquisition of Nexus Controls from Baker Hughes. With the addition of this leading aftermarket control system upgrade and field service capability, GE Gas Power, part of GE Vernova, will create a single, full-service controls business line responsible for further developing GE’s proprietary Mark™ Vle controls systems platform, the implementation of the OnCore system, as well as streamlining and improving the delivery and service of its controls offerings for customers.

Customers will benefit from end-to-end support including consistency and efficiency across both new and serviced units, as well as a comprehensive lifecycle strategy to support their fleet’s controls needs. As part of the controls business line, GE will continue to invest in its Mark™ VIe controls product line as well as other systems and related products. This new controls business line will be led by Mani Elango within GE Gas Power.
