The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to further develop the SCRI to address the supply chain disruptions and promote strong, sustainable, balanced, and inclusive growth in the Indo-Pacific region.

In addition, the ministers welcomed the trilateral actions for supply chain resilience such as the sharing of best practices on supply chain resilience and the holding of an investment promotion/buyer-seller matching event since the launch of the SCRI last April.

On this basis, the ministers agreed to trilaterally work on formulation of supply chain principles in the region, facilitation of joint projects for supply chain resilience, and cooperation among, business, academia, and government in each country, including trade and investment promotion organizations such as JETRO.

Japan will facilitate the discussion of the SCRI as the chair country for around one year.
