Both sides confirmed the intention to continue ongoing cooperation on enhancement of the business environment for Japanese companies in Tamil Nadu as well as three Japan Industrial Townships located in Chennai and the promotion of investment by Japanese companies, under the frameworks of economic cooperation, such as the India-Japan Industrial Competitiveness Partnership, in order to further strengthen economic relations between Japan and Tamil Nadu.
