MOEI Gov: “Zayed Housing” Approves Second Batch Of Loans Beneficiaries Within The New Housing Policy

The Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure, represented by Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, announced the approval of the second batch of loan beneficiaries within the new housing policy, which includes 500 decisions with a value of 400 Million AED, within the framework of a comprehensive plan to announce 3,000 loans beneficiaries during 2022, with an average of 500 housing decisions per month.

His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Al Mansouri, Director of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, praised the State’s interest under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”; his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “May God protect him”; and Their Highnesses, members of the Federal Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, in providing sustainable government housing as a top priority for the well-being of citizens and their quality of life, as reflected in the approval of huge budgets for this vital sector.

His Excellency confirmed that the second batch beneficiaries were notified via text messages to start updating their data and providing the required evidence through the digital channels of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, to start the procedures by selecting one of the four national banks with which the Programme has concluded a partnership agreement in this regard, namely, First Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, Dubai Islamic Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. Under such agreement, the banks shall provide housing loans. His Excellency indicated that the names of the beneficiaries of second batch are part of the new housing policy, which includes 500 decisions with a value of 400 Million AED, within the framework of a comprehensive plan to announce 3,000 loans beneficiaries during 2022, with an average of 500 housing decisions per month.

His Excellency noted that cooperation with national banks will contribute to maximizing benefits in terms of reducing the customer’s journey and facilitating it, as the branches of those banks cover all the country’s areas and their electronic systems are advanced, smooth and accessible to all.
