Bhubaneswar: Odisha CSR Forum awarded Shri Jakir Khan DGM (HR), NTPC Talcher Kaniha for his contribution in the area of Industrial Relations on 30 October, 2021. He was also adjudged as the outstanding young professional for his dedication, commitment and support in the same.
The CSR team of NTPC Talcher Kaniha was also awarded for its outstanding contribution and service in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. Hon’ble Speaker of Odisha, Dr Surjya Narayan Patro conferred the award to the representatives of NTPC Talcher Kaniha, Shri Jakir Khan (DGM HR) and Shri Bhismadev Nayak (Jr. Officer HR-CSR). Many government and private industries of Odisha participated in this program.
The CSR team of NTPC Talcher Kaniha was praised for its tireless effort and good CSR practices in various fields like education, health, income generating activities, ensuring safe drinking water, investing in rural infrastructure, Covid 19 relief work, providing Covid 19 vaccines and Covid RAT kit free of cost for villagers as a measure to contain spread to name a few.
