PDVSA: EL AISSAMI HIGHLIGHTS VENEZUELA’S PARTICIPATION IN THE 26TH MEETING OF THE OPEC + JMMC

The Sectorial Vice President of the Economic Area and Minister of the Popular Power of Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, highlighted this Wednesday the participation of Venezuela in the 26th Meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Joint Monitoring of OPEC +, to guarantee the maintenance of the stability of the oil market.

“The 26th Meeting of the OPEC + Ministerial Joint Monitoring Committee is in full swing. We continue working to maintain the balance necessary for the stability of the oil market. UNITED WE WILL WIN !! ”, wrote El Aissami through his account on the social network Twitter @Tareckpsuv.

The meeting is chaired by the Chairman of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC), Minister of Petroleum of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness, Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Salmán Al Saud and the co-chair of the JMMC, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, HE Alexander Novak; in the company of the president of the OPEC 2021 Conference, Minister of Mineral Resources and Hydrocarbons of Angola, HE Diamantino Azevedo; and the Secretary General of OPEC, HE Mohammad Barkindo.

During this meeting, they presented the report on the evolution of the oil market and the levels of compliance with production adjustments by the OPEC Secretariat.
