The High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN) Russia-Venezuela signed this Tuesday 12 important legal instruments for the strengthening of strategic cooperation between both nations.
This was reported by the co-president of CIAN for Venezuela and sector vice president for the Economic Area, Tareck El Aissami, during an important meeting held at the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, with the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in the framework of the high-level visit of the Vice President of the Russian Federation and Co-President of CIAN for the Russian side, Yuri Borisov.
“In this working day with the Russian delegation, held this Tuesday in the city of Caracas, we have reviewed the different areas of this exemplary bilateral relationship, which has allowed us to sign 12 important instruments in the field of oil, mining, industry, health, education. , science and technology, and in the cultural sphere, to raise the level of our cooperation every day ”, he said.
During the high-level visit of the Vice President of the Russian Federation and Co-President of CIAN Russia-Venezuela, Yuri Borisov, Venezuela proposed a structured agenda Venezuela Russia 2021-2031, within the framework of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo, which will allow to continue promoting with greater force the level of cooperation and strategic relationships.
“This meeting has allowed us to achieve new and extraordinary initiatives for the strengthening and expansion of our bilateral cooperation, taking as a horizon a special agenda 2021-2031, projected for the next ten years, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo ”, he specified.
The Vice President of Economy announced that it was agreed to hold the fifteenth session of the Russia-Venezuela High Level Intergovernmental Commission in the city of Moscow, during the second half of 2021. “From now on we are preparing together with the teams and technical commissions to guarantee the success of this very important work meeting ”.
In this sense, he reiterated that “the results of these fruitful days will allow the construction of new work strategies and of mutual benefit so that the great Russia and the heroic people of Venezuela, advance towards new horizons of prosperity and well-being, under the sacred principle of the self-determination, independence and the sovereignty of our peoples. ”
During the working day this Tuesday, the technical commissions were installed in the economic, commercial, transportation, industrial, credit-financial and technical-military fields.
El Aissami highlighted the support provided by the Russian government to the Venezuelan people in the midst of the pandemic, particularly in sending the first doses of the Sputnik V vaccine, “which represents an example of the leadership of President Vladimir Putin and a sample of the historical prominence of Russia in the international concert, exhibiting its scientific, technological and humanistic capacity in the face of Covid-19 ”.
