Pertamina: Pertamina Regional Sumbagsel Supports the Smoothness of World Surf League Krui Pro 2022 on the West Coast

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel supports the World Surf League (WSL) Krui Pro 2022 an international surfing event.

The World Surf League (WSL) Krui Pro 2022 will be held in Pesisir Barat Regency from 11 to 17 June 2022.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, was also present at the activity supporting tourism in the international surfing event, World Surf League Krui Pro 2022, held in Pesisir Barat Regency.

“250 of the best surfing participants from 17 countries are here. This event has a tremendous appeal, opening up business opportunities and employment opportunities so it can bring prosperity to the community,” said the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno.

Taina Angel Izquierdo, a surfer from Bali, expressed her admiration for Krui waves.

“Apart from the wonderful local people, the waves at Krui are perfect,” Taina said.

Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of South Sumatra, Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan, said WSL Krui Pro 2022 is an important activity, especially for people in Pesisir Barat Regency.

“On this occasion, Pertamina supplies Dexlite, Pertamax fuel of 4 Kilo Liters (KL) each for operational needs during the WSL Krui Pro 2022 activity, as well as preparing services for the community by providing fuel at four petrol stations, ten Pertashop, and 163 LPG bases in the Pesisir Barat Regency,” Nikho said.

Pertamina also supports the World Surf League (WSL) in three regions in Indonesia, including Banyuwangi, Krui, and Nias.

“Pertamina as a corporation supports government activities that can improve Indonesian tourism in the eyes of the world,” Nikho continued.

Pertamina’s facilities in Pesisir Barat Regency are now ready to meet the community’s and tourists’ energy needs.

Reinhard, a tourist from Purwakarta, West Java, rode a motorbike to watch this surfing event and shared his experience using Pertamax during his trip.

“During the two-day journey, there were no problems using Pertamax, it made riding the motorbike easier,” Reinhard said.
