To ensure the readiness and fuel availability in the field ahead of Ramadan 1443 H/2022 AD, the Board of Directors of PT Pertamina (Persero) visited several petrol stations and fuel terminal facilities in several areas in Indonesia.
Dedi Sunardi, PT Pertamina (Persero) Business Support Director (3/4), had the opportunity to directly visit three petrol stations in Balikpapan City, namely SPBU 6476105 Kebun Sayur, SPBU 6476110 KM 14, and SPBU 6476119 KM 13 to ensure excellent service and fuel stock.
To anticipate the homecoming current and increasing fuel demand, his party will also prepare additional services of standby petrol stations, standby tank trucks, motorists, pocket petrol stations, and rest areas equipped with health facilities for travelers at several points on the homecoming route.
“We have also dispatched a special task force for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (Satgas RAFI) from April 11 to May 10, 2022, to ensure a smooth supply and distribution of fuel and gas to the community,” he said.
During this impromptu visit, Dedi first visited SPBU 6476105 Kebun Sayur, which was reported to have had a long queue in the last few weeks. During the visit, Dedi found normal queue. He also checked the digitalization system at petrol stations. It includes digital monitoring of fuel stocks, CCTV, and the Subsidized Solar Control Card usage, which is being promoted by Pertamina to control queues and distribute subsidized diesel on target.
After visiting the Kebun Sayur petrol station, Dedi, accompanied by Freddy Anwar, Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Kalimantan, and Wahyu Sulistyo Wibowo, General Manager of Refinery Unit V, visited the KM 9 petrol station, where there had been reports of queues in recent weeks. Similar to the Kebun Sayur gas station condition, Dedi found a queue but in a normal and orderly condition because the car was long and wide. On that occasion, Dedi gave a gift to the operator who was in charge of serving the purchase of subsidized Solar. “Keep the spirit even though fasting,” he motivated the operator.
The last visit to the petrol station facility was SPBU 6476119 KM 13, which has only been serving subsidized diesel for three days. “To unravel the queue, Pertamina added one gas station point that serves subsidized diesel services, precisely at KM 13, which is in the direction of Kariangau Port, that opened last Friday (1/4),” Dedi said to the media crew while at the KM 13 gas station on Sunday (3/4).
The East Kalimantan Ditresriskrimsus Police team, represented by AKP Yusuf, was also present during the visit to the KM 13 petrol station. Dedi expressed his appreciation for the support of the Regional Police of East Kalimantan in uncovering several cases of misuse of Subsidized Solar, which were accommodated and resold to consumers of the mining and palm oil industries. “I am grateful, of course, to the Regional Police of East Kalimantan and their staff, who recently arrested the perpetrators of misappropriation of Solar Subsidized in the Balikpapan, Penajam, and Tenggarong areas. With the disclosure of illegal BBM by law enforcement officers, the deterrent effect felt by individuals can be an education for the public not to cheat in using subsidized BBM,” Dedi explained. The decreasing queues at gas stations in the Balikpapan area are one of the effects of the law enforcement and enforcement implementation. “We are ready to support Pertamina in securing fuel distribution in East Kalimantan,” supported Yusuf while talking with Dedi.
Agus, a truck driver who transports logistics goods and basic necessities, admitted that he bought diesel at the KM13 petrol station and did not have to wait in long lines. “Now I buy diesel at the KM 13 petrol station and I do not have to queue and wait. It is easier now,” Agus said to Dedi and his entourage.
In the direction of Sepinggan Airport, before leaving Balikpapan, Dedi and his entourage had the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Balikpapan, Rahmad Mas’ud at the official residence of the Mayor of Balikpapan. In the brief meeting, Dedi expressed his gratitude for the Mayor’s support to Pertamina in distributing subsidized diesel fuel. Therefore, it is more targeted, organized, orderly, and neat. “Thank you for the support of the Mayor for his support in implementing the subsidized solar control card, which is considered to be targeting consumers who are on target for subsidized Solar users,” Dedi said. “The condition of all fuel products is safe and available in East Kalimantan,” he continued.
Rahmad also appreciated Pertamina for operating a gas station in KM 13 that served subsidized diesel last Friday, where accelerations had been made for its operation. “With the operation of the KM 13 petrol station, the queues have been reduced. This effect is being felt now,” Rahmad said.
The visit was carried out simultaneously on 2-3 April 2022 by all Pertamina Directors, namely Nicke Widyawati, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) in Jambi and South Sumatra, Multyono, Director of Logistics and Infrastructure in several areas in North Sumatra, Iman Rachman, Director of Portfolio Strategy and Development Business Support (SPPU) in Riau, Dedi Sunardi, Director of Business Support, in East Kalimantan, M. Erry Sugiharto, Director of Human Resources in South and Central Kalimantan, and Emma Sri Martini, Finance Director in South Sulawesi. In addition, Alfian Nasution, the Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, also visited the areas of West Sumatra, Lampung, and Bengkulu.
To provide the best service, active participation from the community is expected. Pertamina will always synergize with the Government and TNI-POLRI in distributing energy to the community. If there are problems and obstacles to the distribution of BBM and LPG, information can be submitted through the Pertamina Call Center (PCC) at number 135.
