President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Nicke Widyawati, monitors Pertamina Integrated Command Center (PICC) to ensure fuel (BBM) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) availability throughout Indonesia.

The energy availability monitoring uses digital technology at the PICC of the Grha Pertamina Building, Jl Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta, Friday (12/31/2021) starting at 19.00 WIB. The monitoring was also attended by Director of Logistics & Infrastructure, Mulyono, Director of Finance, Emma Sri Martini, Director of Strategy, Portfolio & Business Development, Iman Rachman, Director of Business Support, Dedi Sunardi, Director of Human Resources, M Erry Sugiharto, and online operations unit leaders throughout Indonesia.

On that occasion, the President Director of Pertamina monitored the company’s operations from upstream to downstream, greeting and communicating with the leadership and workers in the operating unit, including workers on duty at the furthest FuelTerminals, Workers in Overseas Oil and Gas Fields, and Crews who were delivering fuel or LPG.

Nicke expressed her appreciation to all workers who carry out noble tasks when most people celebrate New Year’s eve with their families. Nicke also reminded workers to keep improving their performance, even during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

“I want to say a big thank you for all the hard work of all of my colleagues. Earlier, there were reports from upstream, downstream, refineries, ships, and geothermal. There is still a pandemic, but the economy is starting to grow. For that, we keep the health protocols, but business activities must be even harder,” said Nicke.

Meanwhile, the Director of Logistics and Infrastructure of PT Pertamina (Persero), Mulyono, who is also in charge of Pertamina’s Christmas and New Year’s Task Force (Nataru), said the Nataru Task Force team monitors every day and reports that conditions in the field. The Nataru Task Force team also carried out direct monitoring in the field.

“It turned out that what was reported was true. All conditions were safe. I reviewed depots and petrol stations, all conditions were safe, and officers were working well, so there were no long queues at the location,” said Mulyono.

Pertamina has carried out stock security throughout the fuel distribution chain, from refineries to TBBM and gas stations, which are on standby 24 hours. The resilience of the national stock of gasoline types (Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax, Pertalite, and Premium) was recorded to be above 20 days. Meanwhile, the resilience of gasoil stocks (Solar, Biosolar, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex) is above 18 days. The Avtur stock resilience reached 36 days.

The Nataru Task Force also anticipated the demand for fuel, which is estimated to increase by 1.4% from 6% for gasoline and gasoil. Pertamina has also increased the supervision of the national fuel distribution by using digital technology. The entire fuel distribution process can be monitored in real-time through the PICC and the dashboard digitizing the petrol stations. Therefore the fuel stock in each region and at the petrol station can be monitored accurately, and Pertamina can quickly send the fuel stock if there is a spike in demand.

During the 2022 new year holidays, Pertamina also prepared energy distribution infrastructure, including 114 TBBM, 68 Aircraft Filling Depots (DPPU), and more than 7,400 petrol stations. Pertamina also provides special services during the new year holidays in the form of 1,356 standby gas stations on the regular route, 65 standby petrol stations on the toll road, 219 motorists or the Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) fleet, 144 fuel petrol bag points, and 37 units of Pertashop or modular petrol stations. Services at 68 DPPU will also continue to be on standby to meet Avtur’s needs for all airlines.
