PETROLEUM YOUTH OUTLINES PDVSA’S FUTURE AT ITS 4TH NATIONAL MEETING

The National Front of the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Youth (FNJP) held its 4th National Meeting focused on the idea of ​​giving its members a glimpse of the technical and operational panorama of the country’s main Industry.

At the meeting, the entire operational ramification of the Industry was exposed from the formative vision of the third axis of action, which is the productive vision of Petróleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA).

The political and strategic perspective will allow the formation of the youth group that today works in the Industry with full awareness that they will occupy the management positions of the future with full comprehensive knowledge, this was announced by Johan Carmona, National coordinator of the FNJP.

To achieve this objective, the meeting gave keynote speeches on oil production, by Brian Vilas, technical assistant to the Vice Presidency of Exploration and Production; gas production, dictated by Juan Santana, vice president of Gas; and petrochemical production, led by Rafael Tellechea, president of Pequiven.

The young participants were integrated into work tables to debate proposals aimed at shaping the integral cadre of new workers with a vision of the future. The Management Report corresponding to the activity of the FNJP 2020 was also read, and the 2021 Work Plan was presented.

After his presentation, Pedro Rafael Tellechea, president of Pequiven, described this meeting as an opportunity for reflection “for the new cadres within the oil industry, a call to be disciplined, planned, loyal to the Corporation and committed to Venezuela, understanding that we are the ones who will save PDVSA, due to more sanctions and more political pressure exerted by the US government to defeat the Bolivarian Revolution ”.

In the same way, Juan Santana, also president of PDVSA Gas, manifested himself “full of energy and vigor for being surrounded by so much youth, a vital part of the recovery of the state oil company. New times are blowing within the Industry, and the deployment of workers and new cadres like you has been key. Keep on injecting courage into the company, and keep earning your position by hand, with facts, with actions, with proposals ”.
