Siberian sturgeon, muksun, whitefish and peled fry were raised at the fish factories, which offer optimal conditions for fish reproduction, on the oil industry’s order.
The fry were released in pre-selected favourable locations, such as small channels with sufficient nutrition and mild water flow. Fry there gain weight and enter the larger rivers.
