Russia Ministry of Energy: Nikolai Shulginov discussed the formation of common oil and gas markets with the Minister for Energy and Infrastructure of the EEC Temirbek Asanbekov

Nikolai Shulginov and the Minister for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission Temirbek Asanbekov at a working meeting discussed the formation of a common gas market and a common market for oil and oil products of the Eurasian Economic Union.

“Together with colleagues from the EAEU Member States and from the EEC, we continue to work on the formation of common markets for gas, oil and oil products of the Union in accordance with the approved program documents. We believe that the creation of the foundations for the operation of business in the oil and gas sector will only strengthen the energy security of our countries, at the same time expand access to energy resources and significantly increase bilateral trade,” said Nikolai Shulginov.

The meeting discussed conceptual issues on draft international agreements on the formation of a common gas market and common markets for oil and oil products of the EAEU.
