Russia Ministry of Energy: Nikolay Shulginov discussed cooperation in the fuel and energy complex with the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Aziz Aaliev
Nikolay Shulginov held a working meeting with First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Aziz Aaliev.
The parties discussed the current and future Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation in the oil sector, in particular, the continuation of the supply of oil products to Kyrgyzstan in 2021 within the framework of indicative balances. In addition, much attention was paid to deepening interaction within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
“Russia has been the largest supplier of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan for many years, providing the country’s import needs for various fuels. Our cooperation in the oil and gas sector is historical in nature and is an example of long-term reliability. Russian companies are doing a lot of work with our partners in terms of gas and oil cooperation, including through the EAEU and the creation of common energy markets, ”Nikolai Shulginov said.
