Nikolai Shulginov and Omsk Region Governor Alexander Burkov discussed topical issues and the development of the region’s fuel and energy complex at a working meeting.

The Minister recalled the need to strengthen the work on the consolidation of territorial grid organizations (TGO) in accordance with the instructions of the President of Russia to ensure reliable power supply to consumers.

There are 30 TSOs in the Omsk region. A large number of territorial grid organizations leads to duplication of operating costs, a decrease in the quality of operation of power grid facilities. At the same time, small TGOs cannot ensure prompt restoration of power supply to consumers in case of emergencies.

In addition, Nikolai Shulginov and Alexander Burkov paid attention to the modernization of power plants in the region, reviewed the implementation of TGK-11’s measures to reduce emissions of pollutants into the air, and also discussed a comprehensive project for the development of the petrochemical industry using low-carbon technologies and the development of the Tevriz gas condensate field.

In addition, the meeting discussed additional gasification in the region, issues of fuel pricing in the domestic market, stimulation of the gas engine fuel market, and the development of a network of filling stations for electric transport.

The head of the Ministry of Energy and the governor also considered the issue of coal supplies in the Omsk region. The minister noted that the situation has returned to normal, but it is necessary to continue to keep it under special control.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Energy indicated that it is necessary to conclude contracts not with intermediaries, but with companies that have licenses for the extraction and processing of coal, while concluding long-term contracts for a period of more than three years.

As part of his working trip, the Minister inspected the construction progress of an automated gas distribution station – GDS-29. Nikolay Shulginov noted the importance of the implementation of this project for gas supply to the left-bank part of Omsk.
