Russia Ministry of Energy: Nikolay Shulginov launched key power supply centers of urban districts of the Kaliningrad region after reconstruction

After reconstruction, Nikolai Shulginov launched key substations of PJSC Rosseti in Ladushkinsky, Bagrationovsky, Gvardeisky, Polessky and Slavsky urban districts of the Kaliningrad region.

“The commissioning of five large reconstructed substations – Ladushkin, Bagrationovsk, Ozerki, Slavsk, Polessk – significantly increases the quality and reliability of power supply to the region, as well as provides additional energy security for the Kaliningrad region,” the Minister emphasized.

According to him, the modernization of substations will create a multiplier effect: an improvement in the investment climate, the creation of new jobs, in addition, business and the industrial complex will have new opportunities, and tax payments to the regional budget will increase.

The cost of the reconstruction of the substations amounted to 2.5 billion rubles. The total capacity of the modernized facilities has been increased by 1.5 times, from 85 to 136 MVA, which makes it possible to provide power supply to more than 100 thousand residents living in 120 settlements, as well as about 200 socially significant facilities.
