Burla, November 26: TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL) held a press conference today and announced the online winners of the October 2024 “Pay & Win Scheme.” The TPWODL Commercial Department headquarters in Sambalpur served as the venue for the news conference. The company’s chief executive officer, Shri Parveen Kumar Verma, was also there, as were other department leaders.

In order to increase the quality of energy service in Western Odisha, it is crucial that users pay their monthly electricity bills. Every month, millions of customers pay their electricity bills on schedule. Through this program, the corporation rewards those customers with a modest gift, while other customers are urged to pay their monthly electricity bill on time. Beginning in August 2024, TPWODL began implementing this plan. A smartphone is the first prize, a Saregama Karma is the second, and a solar lamp is the third. The scheme’s rules state that three consumers are chosen for each subdivision by an automated computer-generated lucky draw among qualified consumers.

It is important to note that 5,18,257 customers from all throughout western Odisha qualified for the October 2024 program. Through an automatic computer-generated lucky draw, 171 customers were chosen as winners from 57 subdivisions. Of the aforementioned consumers, 81,718 are from the Bolangir circle, 32,533 are from Bargarh, 99,336 are from Kalahandi, 1,81,938 are from Rourkela, and 1,22,732 are from Sambalpur circle. Once more, in front of media representatives, an automated computer-generated lucky draw was used to choose 33 winners from Bolangir, 27 from Bargarh, 30 from Kalahandi, 39 from Rourkela, and 42 from Sambalpur Circle from among those eligible consumers.

In the next days, all of the winners will get their awards and be invited to the closest TPWODL office. Soon, the company’s website will also have the names of every customer.
