The upstream oil and gas (oil and gas) industry, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Oil and Gas Special Task Force (SKK Migas), provided equipment assistance for oxygen transportation (isotank) and oxygen cylinders needed by the medical community for handling Covid-19 patients. . The overall assistance provided was in the form of 7 (seven) isotanks and around 1,500 tubes measuring 3m3 and 6m3.

Symbolically, the online delivery of assistance for the Upstream Oil and Gas Care Oxygen Program – Kadin Indonesia was attended by Minister of Health Budi Gunawan Sadikin, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ego Syahrial, Head of SKK Migas Dwi Soetjipto, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arsjad Rasjid , and oil and gas PSC Contractors.

“We hope that this assistance in the form of isotans and oxygen cylinders can help with the scarcity of oxygen and tubes that occurred in several areas along with the increasing number of positive cases of COVID-19 for patients who are hospitalized or treated at home,” said Ego.

Ego also emphasized that all levels of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, SKK Migas and the oil and gas industry will continue to support the government in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
