U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm issued the following statement today following the U.S. Senate confirmation of Frank Rose by unanimous consent to serve as Principal Deputy Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE):
“I am so grateful to the Senate for confirming Frank Rose to serve as Principal Deputy Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration. Frank brings unparalleled expertise in nuclear security and national defense, and he will be a tremendous asset as NNSA works to keep our nation and our world safe. I am thrilled that he’s willing to serve the American people once again, and we’re so excited to welcome him to DOE.”
