Ecopetrol: Ecopetrol is the company with the best capacity to attract and retain talent in the country

The 2022 version of the Merco Talento ranking establishes that Ecopetrol rises two positions to occupy first place. Grupo Nutresa continues in second place. Bancolombia goes from first place to third place. Alpina remains in fourth place. Sura, climbs two positions, rises from seventh to fifth place.

The Merco Talento 2022 ranking was developed between February and June of this year, integrating the assessment of 10 information sources , these audiences consider three values ​​of a talented company: job quality, employer brand and internal reputation. The total sample of the field of Merco Talento 2022 in Colombia, compared to the previous year, had 9,467 more respondents than in 2021, going from 68,808 to 78,275 surveys this 2022.

“In this edition we include the assessment made by the collaborators of their companies in the different areas of corporate responsibility and the results showed that Colombian workers are very proud of the responsible behavior of their company, assessing with more than 9 points out of ten all the attributes (social and environmental responsibility, with customers, workers, at the fiscal level, among others)”, highlighted José María San Segundo, CEO of Merco.

Recognized for sustainability and social media presence

As a novelty, Merco Talento 2022 in this edition incorporates social networks, which are increasingly impacting the employer brand. Analyzing them from two perspectives: Own channels and conversation generated in the Talent dimension. In this ranking, Ecopetrol’s social networks were recognized in third place for their ability to attract talent in the country.

Likewise, the ESG (Environment, Society and Governance) concept is included. And using a scale of 0 to 10, the collaborators valued the responsibility of their company through different variables: at the fiscal level (with 9.55), with society (with 9.29), with their clients (9 .28), in its corporate governance (with a 9.20), with the environment (9.18) and with its employees (with a 9.06).

The monitor shows that in relation to the commitment/bet within the company for inclusion and equality, female talent was valued with 8.87, senior talent with 8.05 and the talent of people with disabilities with 7.37 .

Ranking in oil companies and distribution of hydrocarbons

In the ranking specialized in the sector, the presence of Ecopetrol stands out in first place, Reficar in sixth, and Cenit, in eighth place.
