METI: Parliamentary Vice-Minister Nagamine Receives Courtesy Call from H.E. Dr. Ashurboy Solehzoda, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan

On November 2, Mr. Nagamine Makoto, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from H.E. Dr. Ashurboy Solehzoda, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, in which they exchanged views on the future economic relations between the Japan and Tajikistan.

Outline of the meeting
On November 2 (Wed.), Parliamentary Vice-Minister Nagamine received a courtesy call from H.E. Dr. Ashurboy Solehzoda, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, who was visiting Japan at the invitation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

During the courtesy call, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Nagamine and First Deputy Minister Solehzoda congratulated each other on the 30th anniversary of Japan-Tajikistan diplomatic relations being established. In addition, they exchanged views on the prospects of developing economic relations between the two countries and significance of policy evaluation in national and local governments, and expressed their hopes for a deeper relationship between the two countries. Parliamentary Vice-Minister Nagamine also expressed his hopes that the visa exemptions will lead to more active human exchanges.
