In 2021, Philips’ innovations improved the health and well-being of 1.7 billion people globally, while circular revenues accounted for 16% of the company’s sales. This was driven by Philips’ smart healthcare informatics and services to enhance medical equipment uptime and utilization, system and software upgrades for enhanced functionality and extended lifetime, as well as the reuse of refurbished parts and systems. Moreover, Philips is carbon neutral in its own operations, including all of the company’s R&D activities.
