Russia Ministry of Energy: Electricity supply to consumers in the Krasnodar Territory has been restored
Under the control of the Ministry of Energy, power supply was restored to the rest of consumers in the Krasnodar Territory, where on August 13-14 there were blackouts due to unfavorable weather conditions.
Due to heavy rain and wind with gusts of up to 20 meters per second in the region, outages occurred in 35-110 kV power grids and 6-10 kV distribution networks (subsidiaries and dependent companies of PJSC Rosseti – PJSC Rosseti Kuban, JSC NESK-elektroseti ).
Most of the household consumers remained without power supply in the city of Temryuk, the resort town of Anapa, in Tuapse, Anapsky, Slavyansky, Temryuk, Bryukhovetsky, Krymsky, Seversky, Abinsky and Starominsky districts (about 108,000 people). The majority of consumers were restored power supply on August 15, when PJSC Rosseti Kuban completed restoration work in its area of responsibility.
The work to restore power supply to 4,650 people was complicated by continued precipitation, flooding in large settlements made it difficult for power engineers to dry cable lines and pump out water at flooded power facilities for further safe supply of electricity to consumers.
So, on August 18, 1,700 people were left without a constant power supply, on August 20 – 700 people. Consumers were supplied with electricity from mobile standby power supplies. As of 8:00 Moscow time on 23 August, work was completed in the area of responsibility of NESK-Electricity Grids, and permanent power supply to all consumers was restored.
The restoration work was carried out by 93 brigades of power engineers (349 specialists and 95 units of equipment).
